Bid Bond - Guarantee Your Participation and Win More Contracts
Replace cash deposits and bank guarantees with ERGO's letter of guarantee, the economical and agile way to take part in public and private tenders, according to the guarantee types each tender notice accepts.
What is a Bid Bond?
The Bid Bond is a contractual guarantee instrument that ensures compliance with obligations assumed by companies in bidding processes, replacing with significant advantages the traditional cash deposit or bank guarantee.
The tender notice defines the required guarantee, the percentage and the accepted types — in municipal, state and federal tenders. When the notice accepts a letter of guarantee, ERGO issues it with the required amount, term and beneficiary.
ERGO, as guarantor, undertakes to pay the contracting agency, up to the guaranteed amount, if the contracted company fails to meet its obligations, whether at the bid stage or during performance of the contract.
